More fun and games this week at the repair shop with a wide range of items including multiple pressure washers, a sprinkling of Dysons, a dining room chair, a standard lamp, a Shark upright vacuum plus a Shark steam cleaner and an old Singer sewing machine.
For the first time this week, I got my hands on a robot vacuum in need of attention. These robovacs wander around the house, vacuuming up bits. They ‘draw’ their route in their internal memory so subsequent journeys become more efficient. When the batteries run low, they find their way back to their charging station for a top up. All very clever stuff. Following the repair I tested the Robovac in the kitchen where it appeared to lock-on to my cat. Wherever the cat went, the robot followed. The cat was not impressed. Come to think of it he never is.
